World Quarantine

This came to me in an email, today.

WORLD QUARANTINE

The Latin root of the word “quarantine” is “forty”.

So what does the Bible say about 40?

The flood lasted 40 days.

40 years Moses fled Egypt.

40 days Moses stayed on Mount Sinai to receive the Commandments.

Exodus lasted 40 years.

Jesus fasted for 40 days.

Lent is 40 days.
JESUS ASCENDED 40 DAYS AFTER THE RESURRECTION! (FRIDAY, MAY 22, 2020).

40 days for a woman to rest after giving birth.

A group of theologians thinks the number 40 represents “change”.  It is the time of preparing a person, or people, to make a fundamental change.

Something will happen after these 40 days. Just believe and pray.  Remember, whenever the number 40 appears in the Bible, there is a “change”.

Please know that during this “quarantine” rivers are cleaning up, vegetation is growing, the air is becoming cleaner because of less pollution, there is less theft and murder, healing is happening, and most importantly, people are turning to Christ.  The Earth is at rest for the first time in many years and hearts are truly transforming.

So, during this time, enjoy it with your loved ones and return to the family altar together. Family prayer is a great blessing.  Through prayer you will see the changes God can work in you and in your home.  Christ promises us that everything works together for the good for those who love God: Romans 8:28!

Remember we are in the year 2020, and 20 + 20 = 40.

Also, 2020 is the year of the United States Census.  Jesus Christ, the savior of the world, was born during a census.

Lastly, 2020 is perfect vision.  May our sight focus on the Lord and living according to His perfect vision for us knowing He holds us in the palm of His hand.

May these days of “quarantine” bring spiritual liberation to our souls, our nation, and our world.

The best is yet to come.
Trust in the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit!✨

Envision Health

A Vision for Healing Ourselves and Our Planet

The following Vision comes from Vicki Brunton of Palestine, Texas. Vicki says, “I would like to share a vision with you. This is a bit rough, but the essence is that as we consciously heal ourselves, everything around us will be healed as well.”

Thank you, Vicki. Your Vision is beautiful, and here it is!

We see a vision of our children as they arrive on planet earth never losing their connection to their higher self, knowing who they are and why they are here. They are continuously and lovingly supported by parents, angels, guides and others in ways that nourish, inspire and uplift them. They are a source of pure light and love, here to assist the planet in healing.

We see a vision of ourselves as whole and fully integrated, having forgiven ourselves and others and loving all aspects of who we are. We see ourselves living freely, compassionately, and in gratitude for all that has past which has brought us to where we are now. We see ourselves carrying out our higher purpose work in service to our fellow man and our planet. We see ourselves as healed, filled with light and love which, in turn, heals others by our very presence. As we raise our vibration, we assist in raising the vibration of those around us.

We see a vision of ourselves, our children, all people and our planet as healed and vibrating pure love and light.

Moving on in 2020

The first 19 years of the 21st century have been power-packed and most interesting. In 1997, I began to research women musicians and developed the Jazzwomen Directory. By 2007, I incorporated Women in Jazz South Florida, Inc. to promote women musicians, globally.

april252019.jpg

In 2006, I published my first book In Pursuit of A Melody and, by 2019, I published my 14th book Blues Women: The First Civil Rights Workers. Other books I published were Amazing Musicwomen cataloging 40 professional women musicians and vocalists, and So, You Want To Be A Singer? that instructs young people about the business of music.

In 2017, I graduated with my Doctor of Business Administration degree from Northcentral University, where I published my dissertation, Women in Jazz: Music Publishing and Marketing.

jc dissertationThis qualitative case study explored women jazz musicians and earning as music publishers. It examined business practices of 20 women in jazz in the U.S., between 30 and 64, who compose and publish jazz music. Variables were education, the number of songs composed, incorporation, affiliation with royalty organizations, and how they used marketing, branding, promotion, and advertisement. Participants discussed financial challenges resulting from gender and age discrimination. The focus was on business tactics for operations and marketing that affected the professional careers of women jazz musicians. Best business practices were explored for women musicians in jazz and guidelines for young women entering the industry. Suggestions were made for how private corporations and governments could be more inclusive of women’s music through programming and grant-making, and recommendations for future research and policy for equitable treatment of women musicians, particularly in media and film.

From 2014 to 2018, we published four Catalogs of Women in Arts & Business that culminated in Musicwoman Magazine, launched in June 2019.

Today, I am compiling the articles and advertisement for the second issue of Musicwoman Magazine, and developing the plan for WIJSF and my publishing company FYI Communications, Inc. for 2020.

The Little Things

This week began during my morning constitution on Sunday with the thought that it is the little things that make a life. It is the little things that you appreciate that makes life worth living. The little things stitched together to create a quilt of experiences that make me smile, wonder, question, hold on, and think.

A spark of fire can create a bonfire. Many people in California are experience the trauma of fires. They lost their homes and their lives. That raging, romping fire began with a spark.

A tree begins with a seed and, over time, that seed grew into a magnificent tree that gives fruit, shade, and is a vision to behold.

A kind word, a small donation, a thoughtful deed can help people in distress. Yet, a small error in thinking puts people out of their home and on the street. Children should live in a home. A small effort on the part of humanity as a whole can solve the homeless problem. It takes a small thought, a small effort, a small group to make some change.

What will we do to spark a revolution for change, plant the seed for change, and make a small effort to end homelessness and poverty?

Homeless

1Homeless people are 2% or 150 million people of the population on Earth and ___% in the USA. Reportedly, in 10 US cities, 400,000 families live in shelters representing 1.1 million homeless children (Nunez & Fox, 1999).

chart4-1024x697

January 2019, New York City reached yet another dismal milestone in the history of modern mass homelessness: An all-time record 63,839 men, women, and children slept in shelters each night. The new peak was fueled by a dramatic increase in the number of homeless single adults – a figure that has been growing by an average of 10 percent per year since Mayor de Blasio took office. The number of single adults in shelters has more than doubled in the past decade, and exceeded 18,000 individuals for the first time in January 2019, while the number of homeless families has soared from 9,600 to more than 15,000 during the same period (Source).

A report from the Department of Housing and Urban Development has found that just under 553,000 people are homeless, with approximately 65% staying in sheltered accommodation. Out of every 10,000 people in the United States, 17 people experienced homelessness on a single night in 2018 (Source).

What made you change?

Last week, I posed a question on the website http://www.quora.com.

What unexpected event made you reimagine yourself?

This is a response I got:

Hi Joan,

In my life, I experienced a range of unexpected events, which was for me the best way to open my eyes and to become awakened. I endured a lot of very terrible negative situations.

I have experienced so much lying, cheating, deceiving from others about me in my whole life to turn your stomach around. In my younger years
I often thought about killing myself. Not, that I felt that I was a bad person, No. I was always happy with myself and my decisions. I just wanted to go back home (Heaven) and leave this selfish egotistical world. But, I was helped by my spirit guides to keep on fighting and more important to search for the truths of life. Still I was always trying to do the right positive thing, what is good for others and good for me and good for Nature, still, I was always losing. For a long time, I didn’t understand my life or the reason for it

Seeing as a twenty-year-old boy my father hanging at a rope, suicide. Losing later in life my loved two children, my possessions, houses, sail yacht, companies, all friends and almost all family. Little ups and even further down the hill. Even went on wandering for a while to find myself, again.

I was forced by life, to detach from my life and start searching for the truths in life and about life. Forced to learn about humans and our complete spiritual world. I had time to channel, time to write, time to search for the truths in life. I learned so much that I want now to share to help others.

By a very hard life, I have learned so much about life and people.

The reason for everyone’s life is to grow above the negativity of the ego perspective and to grow above the negativity of life. You can do this by formulating only positive thoughts in all situations. A positive thought is that what is good for yourself AND good for all other people in the world AND good for Nature.

You will then learn that neither a person nor a negative situation can make you feel bad. It is always your own decision how you want to feel. You will start to understand how emotions really work and that it is just a matter if your energy pattern of your thoughts line up with your Higher Self. More important you learn how to listen to the voice of your Soul, your conscience, spirit guides and even to your higher self.

All these negative situations I experienced in life, opened for me a new door that led to the path to enlightenment. Now, looking back, I don’t regret a thing, because I understand it was my time in this life to become awakened.

The ego perspective of many people will not understand this reasoning because they base their perspective on greed. When you start to embrace your pure positive Soul inside of you, you will know exactly who you are.

Our world is an illusion within an illusion still for persistent purposes. All our Souls are on a journey to grow from cycle 1 to cycle 9. Still many people need many lifetimes to grow even one cycle. Some give up and grow back into their higher self and start living further. That is also the reason we all are connected.

Almost all people live on a low frequency forced by our secret world government thought television, movies and even our way of life. Raise your frequency by making positive thoughts as explained above, grow above the negativity and start to awaken yourself. That is if you choose to do so.

I hope I have answered your question. More questions, let me know.

Chapter 16: Things are never bad; it’s the way you think about them. ~ Epictetus

Mother Earth is at the spa! Steam and water treatments everywhere. We survived the high winds and rain of Irma. Lights were out for 36 hours. All is well, now. Peace on Earth.  The survivors of Hurricanes Katrina, Harvey, and Irma may beg to differ in:

  • New Orleans, LA
  • Houston, TX
  • Barbuda
  • St. Maarten
  • The Virgin Islands
  • Florida Keys
  • Naples, FL
  • Jacksonville, FL
  • Georgia

Then, there was the 8.2 earthquake in the south of Mexico, coupled with monstrous flooding in Sierra Leone and India that took the lives of thousands.

Elisabeth Haich explained the importance of quieting the mind and living where you are.

  • Contemplation
  • Meditation
  • Remembrance
  • Molecules, nothing is solid
  • Silver cord from our solar plexus
  • Psychic vampires vs. lightworkers
  • Energy, vibration, frequency
  • Life-Death continuum
  • Protection
  • Will power, free choice
  • Positive vs negative
  • Appreciate what you have
  • Self-determination
  • Divine beings
  • Giving or taking
  • Thoughts create words and actions
  • False prophets, preachers who misguide
  • Self-observation vs. judgment of others
  • Reincarnation

Home

After one month on vacation in Barbados, I must say being home is a delight. I really enjoyed where I lived in Payne’s Bay, St. James, in the Secret Cottage, where I awakened to a fantastic view each morning and watched a magnificent sunset every evening. I slept so well with the breeze coming through the two windows in my room. I cooked fresh fish on many days. I swam in the Caribbean Sea, met many lovely people from the U.K. and the U.S., and took in polo for the first time.

The most beautiful place I saw in Barbados was Bathsheba on the Atlantic coast.

Absolutely beautiful scenery in Bathsheba!

Dover Beach was lovely too, on the southern coast. I enjoyed swimming and had breakfast at a family restaurant, Bliss, where I spent the entire morning.

31 days later, I’m back in beautiful South Florida, where I always return, no matter where I travel in the world.
